CAF Airsho' Pics.... just a few....

Tue Oct 10, 2006 9:00 pm

Saw many new faces and re-united with many others.... A few surprises this year and many planes down for maintenance issues.... still a good show, especially with adding Korea and Vietnam segments for the show.....
so here are a few pics from this years show.... I will be adding more over the next few days... Please, comments are welcome... except for my spelling and picture taking ability and camera and being 20lbs overweight..
One surprise was the CAF Me-108.

Alan--

Thanx for those...mmmm, Fury, and with that paintjob I can even forgive the backward-turning engine and missing prop blade...Any chance she might be enticed up to Russell's show, or even to Gennie?

That's a nice Bobcat, too. (Happy St.Patrick's Day or what!) :D

Steve, I know your question wasn't directed to me, but I thought I might be able to add something here. The Sea Fury was painted to represent itself, as it was painted back in the Royal Navy. It had a few different paint schemes, but this one is the one that Mr. Peeler preferred when he made his decision. I kind of like it too. :)

He is possibly going to be at the Peachtree City Airshow this coming weekend, but I don't know for sure. It is tough to say what other events he may take the Fury to during the remainder of the year, since we just got it flying a week or so ago and scheduling wasn't high on our list of things to do.

Hi Gary--

Thanx for the Fury gen...I'm really thinking in terms of '07, since everything's pretty much done for '06 up here in The Frozen North! Very hopeful of seeing the Fury firsthand sometime, wherever, whenever... :D

Cheers
