A small scale official RAAF airshow today

Had some warbirds flying

RAAF P-51D/CAC mk 23 Mustang
Canberra bomber - ex UK - now painted in RAAF 2sqn vietnam camo
RAAF Spitfire Mk8 but was grounded
Meteor Mk 8 - ex uk - now RAAF 77sqn Korean marking of Mig Killer

RAAF 707 was nice and noisy and dirty - real warbird current generation tho

Sadly Dakota and Neptune didnt fly.

F-18s and F-111s did and VERY noisy

Was a general very overcast day..

On again tomorrow if lucky

Was hoping 2 x CAC sabres would fly but not yet ready sigh

my father learnt his trade build sabres at cac their still his favorite
paul

and

another CAC sabre and around 4 fuselages and wing sets or so to make another 1 fly

So soon 2 spits and 2 sabre in formation will be a sight for slightly deafened ears
