We pulled up at Andrews AFB and found these gathered for the flyover of the Air Force Memorial.

On to Sarajevo for the first time in ten years. Also the first time I ever flew in there without getting shot at. That place sure has changed a lot since the war ended.

Tirana, Albania. My copilot figured these AN-2s made up the entire Albania Air Force.

We finally wound up in Athens, Greece where things went bad, the mission stopped and I finally made it home today.

Brad,

Glad to have you back home. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your crewmate.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and you and the rest of your crew too.

Hang in there buddy.

Steve

Yeah, it was a joke...from Brad's email he sent out. He was discussing an alcohol-fueled discussion about seeing the sights in Athens, and I believe he called it the "Acropalypse", only to be corrected by his copilot for the trip.
