SECRETS OF THE DEAD: Dogfight Over Guadalcanal
Premiering Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 8 p.m. (ET) on PBS, examines and recreates one of the most famous dogfights in aviation history: the World War II showdown between Lt James "Pug" Southerland in a Grumman F4F Wildcat and PO Saburo Sakai in a Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero off of Guadalcanal in 1942. The film follows a forensic expedition to the wreck of the Wildcat, addressing one of the fight's enduring mysteries. It also features experts who help tell the comprehensive story of these brave men and their remarkable machines.

Watched this the other day on The History Channel up here in Canada. Excellent program, some real nice footage of Zeros and Wildcats, both original and restored. take the time to watch, I am sure you will enjoy it. PS. Lots of decent computer generated stuff as well.
