I love those WWI replicas, but only if they're 1:1. Never understood the logic of building a 75% WWI bird. Seen Makanna's new book (actually about a year old) "Ghosts of the Great War" covering Javier Arango's collection? Great pictures of magnificent airplanes, most flying with original rotaries (or Hispano, Mercedes etc. as appropriate).

I always wanted a D-VII!
Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome was the first air show I ever attended, and it really sparked my interest in aviation history and Warbirds in general.

Being 6' 4" tall, I really need the "full-sized", man-which type Fokker!
