Interesting that an aircraft on display at the museum is being sold for scrap. Is the C-47 in the background next?

Hello,

I believe that is an older C-141 the museum has had on display for quite some time and was replaced by the last C-141 to go through depot level maintenance in 2003. The museum aquired the more current one since it had that connection to the base. I guess they saw no need to have two and the one they received in 2005 is in much better shape.

I also believe that may be the C-46 behind the 141.

I wish them luck as they expand and try to get more aircraft under cover.
