This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

With all the talk about Gary hard at work on the B-24A some how got me thinking of the P-61. I was very happy to see the MAAM is also hard at work on the P-61 and posted some updates on the site.

She's gonna kill me, but this is my fiance helping out when they put the P-61 on it's gear. How
couldn't I marry a woman that loves Warbirds that much?

Haha! What a catch Gary.
I managed to drag my g/f to the MAAM for the WW2 weekend. She liked the Widow, but I dont think she was ready to turn wrenches

Gary...appears to me that you married WAAYY above yourself. (As did I.)
Mrs. Mudge would love to turn a wrench on any warbird. When we were dating, I discovered that she had about as many tools as I did. Also had a pickup (manual tranny) and a Harley Low Rider. How could I resist.
Mudge the extremely fortunate

Yeah Mudge, I'd say I'm quite fortunate as well.
I'm hoping that one day, when I'm considered worthy enough, she and Pappy will let me work on the -61 with 'em.
