Mexican?

Mexico had a squadron of T-Bolts in the Pacfic near the end of WWII.
They had a very good reputation for the short time they were in it.

Boo Jack, that 's just a bunch of old airplanes and so far away that you can barely see them. You could take a lesson on truth-in advertising from the casino billboard here that features "Silicone Sunday", and I'm not making this up. Salma would be nice.

Guys:

For those of you interested in the subject of Mexican P-47s, Mr. Santiago Flores wrote an article on them, published here:

www.laahs.com (with apologies to Scott for the plug)

On the left side of the main page, there is a section for Mexican Aircraft articles; go to the last page of that section and you will find the article, titled The Mexican Expeditionary Air Force in the Philippines: A personal account.

Lastly, this photo of a Mexican P-47, over the Phillipine Islands, 1945.

Author is unknown, but the photo was USAAF.
