What's his name???
The only P-40Fs used in combat in the Asictic-Pacific Theaters were flown by the 44th FS/68th FS in the Solomans from Dec. 42 thru Oct 43.
The 15th and 21st FGs were in few but only in Hawaii.

Just off the top of my head, there was a Joe Adams assigned to the 44th FS on Guadalcanal in late 43 and flew P-40 and then P-38s through the NewGuinea and Philuppine Campaigns.
