Yes... the P-47 fuselage was there in the mid nineties when I was there. I have no reason to suspect that it has gone elsewhere. From what I understand, Walt hasn't parted with anything since before I visited him. Walt told me that he got the P-47 fuselage from Earl Reinert.

So I guess the next question would have to be, does anyone know of a set of Thunderbolt wings that are in need of fuselage? (I don't think Walter or Earl had a set)

Well actually my question was going to be: can i have it? ;)
But of course it would be great if it could meet a pair of wings.

I do have a photo I took in about 1982 when the DC7 fuselage was not in any pile that I remember but in a line that ran along begining of the collection area. I will do my best to dig through my slides and find it for you.
