Does anyone know if the Sea Dart is there and where the museum is located (obviously I know San Diego).

I haven't been there since I was a teenager in the mid 80's but if memory serves me correct I believe the museum is next to Balboa park and Balboa Naval Hospital (anybody out there please correct me if I'm wrong).

It is near / in the park. The Seadart is out front next to an A-12, both are on sticks.

Yes, the Sea Dart is still there. The SDAM is in the old Ford Buiding next to the Auto Museum and the Starlight Bowl.
There are two main street to get to the park off the I-5 or the 163 Freeway. One is Park Blvd. and the other is 6th Ave.
Balboa Naval Hospital, the old one, is on the south side of Park Blvd.
Hope this helps

Yeah, I was there last summer. I just checked through all the pictures I took of my visit to the museum and sadly I only had one picture of the Sea Dart. Worst of all, it wasn't even the main subject of the picture. I was a picture of the museum building and the Sea Dart takes up about a 50th of the picture.
Sorry, but it's not worth posting.
Cheers,
David

To find a map to the museum, go to...
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.html#USA_CA
...and scroll down to San Diego. You will find a link to the museum and a link to a Google map.

Thanks for pointing that out Pat! The correction will be in the new version of the Locator. I was hoping to have it done this week, but it won't be until later next week at least.

Went over there yesterday. That is a great Museum that I hadn't been to before. Lots of very cool very rare stuff. I got the opportunity to go downstairs into the restoration shop and look at the peashooter they are building. It's pretty cool, they have an awsome shop down there.
