Help ID this armoured seat pan

Help ID this armoured seat pan

Hi, can anyone here tell me what this armoured seat pan is from? Plane, turret, tank, jeep, maybe Jimmy Hoffa's limo? I rescued it from a scrap barrel years ago and just found it again. The only number on it is "CES-0600023" it's 1/2" thick and very heavy. Thanks in advance for the help.
