Randy will not want to hear this - one of the last "stock" Cavalier Mustangs was involved in a crash in December in Idaho. During a maintnance flight after an engine rebuild it lost power twice and then a third time as the pilot was trying to get it back to the runway. unfortunalty it did not make it and the plane cartwheeled in the highway median strip - engine ripped from the firewall, prop destroyed and heavy damage to the wings. Pilot walked away! whew!!

The fuselage is at Beck's shop and the wing is at Oders in Kindred. Not sure where the tail feathers are or where the rest of the airplane firewall forward is.

I'm sorry, and I'm not making light of the crash, BUT..."The fuselage is over here, and the wings are over there..." reminds me of the scene from The Wizard of OZ when Scarecrow has just been beat up and is saying, "That's part of me over there and that's some more of me over there..." :D

Don't the ol' gray matter work in mysterious (and weird) ways?

Mudge the unusual :shock:

I'm glad you said that, because I was kind of thinking the same thing a bit. :) Maybe it is just me but I think it is fine that you said that since the pilot was OK. If he wasn't, I think it would be a different story!
