Yes - glad I have a subscription, this last one is one of my favs. 'course, can't have too much about Mustangs!

I found the interview with Mike VadeBonCouer very interesting. Not only because he emailed me a while back about the markings for the new RED DOG (I forgot what I sent him, other than a bunch of pics and info ... hoped it helped in some small way with the paint job on that "new" kite), which is pictured in this issue, but for the information regarding the potential corrosion problems facing the P-51 fleet.

He speculates at one point that some owners of older-restored Mustangs may be reluctant to allow "full access" pre-purchase inspections of the type Mike describes may be needed due to these corrosion issues. However, I'm sure those spending that much money will consult experts like Mike who will recommend them. Interesting indeed ...
