There are 4 Top Gun Aggressor aircraft out of Fallon at Ellington/Houston. They are here to do a fourship flyover Saturday and Sunday at the Grand Prix race over at Reliant Park.

2 F-18s and 2 F-16s. A couple of interesting facts.

The two F-18s are in Iranian camo. The two F-16s are in standard Russian blue and brown camo. What makes the F-16s different is that they are two of the early F-16s that were originally bought by Pakistan. They were impounded at AMARC for many years. New Zealand was going to lease them but the new govt backed out of the deal a couple of years ago. These aircraft had test flight and ferry time only, they were brand new aircraft parked in the desert.

The Navy finally took them and made them aggressor aircraft.

The F-16N the Navy bought many years ago didn't hold up too well. Cracks in the wings were found after several years. Makes you wonder how long these will last.
