I think I sat through the whole thing with my mouth hanging open. That took some thought.

That's funny, I didn't know they did a video with it. I saw the thing fly at Cable Airport in January. Looks tough to fly.

That's awesome!

Back in the old days (1980's) at my museum's "Wings and Wheels" event we'd have a Snoopy and the Red Baron skit like that. It had an annoucer, parts of that great song, and really silly "volunteers" acting out the parts of the british novice pilots, the Red Baron, and of course, Snoopy.

It was really hilarious because each "actor" was dressed in non-accurate military uniform, had a great big corrugated plastic airplane that they wore with shoulder straps, and of course each also had a silly moustache. The planes were big, bulky, and heavy. When the airplanes were being shot down, they first flew behind the cloud (which was painted on an old blue tarp and held up by two keen volunteers). While the planes were behind the tarp... I mean cloud... they had a smoke bomb of sorts dropped in the back and the plane emerged appearing smoking and on fire.

The actor playing Snoopy was all dressed up like a dog, with a giant dog head and his airplane was a dog-house just like the R/C version.

In the end, Snoopy emerges the victor and then the skit plays again later in the day.

I've got some pictures of the Snoopy Skit, but I don't know where they are and I need to get my scanner working again too. One day I might just get them on here. I think you'd all enjoy them.

Cheers,

David
