What's a well restored O-2 sell for these days?

$60,000-75,000 from what I've seen. A zeroed out unit with all the bells and whistles may push $125,000

IMHO they are a bit underpriced. Less than half of a T-34 and 75% of an O-1.

You gotta love a twin you can fly hands off on one engine!

So the auction ended and it didn't meet the reserve of $30k...
Any clue as to a guess of what the reserve may have likely been?

I wonder whether this would be more value as a flyer.. and what
costs it would take to get it "de-mil'd" and back into flying condition?
another 30k? more? lots more? It has sat a long while.

anyone know anymore specifics on the real condition of this thing?
What kind of time before engine overhaul on one of these?

My guess is that engine 1 has some life in it @412 hrs, but engine 2,
@1000 is due, and that'll be a pretty couple pennies?
ideas on how much?

thanks for the thoughts with those in the know!
