OK OK I know shouldn,t build anyones hopes up and its mean to do so, but she is on the move.

Lancaster FM212 in Windsor Ontario is on the move again, this time from her former home in the "shoebox" to a second temporary home at a shopping centre in Windsor. Here she will remain on show for two weeks to raise funds before she makes a second and final trip out to the airport and her new home with CH2A.
Photos can be seen here.

Sadly, due to health reasons I can't be there to see her first hand but I wish all the team the very best for an uneventful and most of all safe move to her temporary display location at the mall in Windsor. :D

Thanks Wardie!
If someone dropped in and handed over about 5 million then she would once again be able to fly again. Sadly this much loved lancaster and sister ship of FM213 mynarski Lanc at hamilton, was mounted on a post and to do so her centre section floor was torched out permanently grounding her. Her missing floor section will be rengineered from new material but only to ground operating condition only due to the cost and work involved.

Like the new undercarriage. Is that a permanent modification? only kidding :D

At least when it is finished, it might not be able to fly but its another live lancaster in the world.
