So the long-rumoured sale of at least part of Jack Erickson's collection seems to have gone through, with the Spitfire T8, P-47D and B-25 appearing for sale on Provenance's website.

Interesting to note that the P-40C and Spitfire V are now showing as 'sold' - does anyone know where they're headed?

I did a bit of work on that Spit in Texas before Ericson purchased it from the Miller brothers. It is in a very stock configuration.

It was also used as a camera ship for the movie, "Battle of Britain"

They seem to be going a little out of their business model with that B-25 though. Not exactly a rare, "high-end" aircraft. I'm not knocking the quality of the aircraft or anything, I would be plenty proud to own it, but just doesn't seem inline with the rest of their sales strategy. I think that if sold at that price it would make those who have spent millions building factory fresh B-25s very happy.
