Tue May 01, 2007 5:39 pm

Some one sent me some pics of a T-28 that belly landed on a beach in Oxnard (whereever that is??). No message with it

Its Orange and White Navy Colors D on the Vert Stab, 316 on the cowling and "SOO DEVINE" in the nose.

Pictures are just bad enough I can't read the N Number under the horiz stab.

Someone email me at P51Mstg@Aol.com and I'll send the pics so you can post them (got about 9 of them)

We are in Ventura County, 50 or so miles north of Los Angeles. We don't talk about Oxnard that much, other than the Oxnard Airport is the old WWII NAAS Ventura County and was replaced in post-war October 1946 by NAS Pt. Mugu as a missile test center.

However, Oxnard's neighbor city of Camarillo is the proud home of the CAF Southern California Wing...and we talk about that a whole lot!
