Some Mid 80's Air Atlantique Dak Photos For Dak Engineer

G-AMRA, G-APML and G-AMSV were at Exter when I visited. I've no idea what happened to the photos of SV.

Some things wot I have learned about C 47 maintenance:

1. When removing an engine, it's necessary to move the prop from it's "Y" position. If you forget this has happened, it hurts.

2. P+W 1830's hold a lot of oil, unfortunately not for very long.

3. When working at the front of the cabin, a dropped tool won't stop rolling until it gets to the cargo doors.

4. It's a little tricky to get on the wing without steps/staging. However, it's very easy to fall off.

Anyone got anything else to add? I'm sure this list will grow!
