The good, wait no GREAT news is that Texas Raiders was moved today by crane along with the one wing by it to a new location at Houstons Hobby Airport to FINALLY be rebuilt. I am going to take pictures with my digital camera and send them to Tim so he can possibly use them in Warbird Digest. I am going to keep going over there like twice a week to see Raiders finally get back in the air. Now the bad news ANOTHER Texas Air Aces T-34 crashed today killing both pilot and passenger on board. They are speculating that it was a Wing Spar problem that the T-34 had a NOTAM to fix. So who knows but thats the second Texas Air Aces loss.

I read that the passenger -as of yet unidentified, was from Venezuela.

Crash area was also near Lake Conroe, similar to the accident they had last year.

Condolences to those who knew the pilot and passenger.

Hey Nathan how soon is that area of the airport supposed to be taken over by the city? I know they moved her yesterday because the city is taking over that entire end except for MillionAir. I work at Houston Aircraft Instruments and we are planning on being out sometime next summer to a new location.

Also, I think they ended up getting the other wing moved. I drove by twice during the day and both time a wing was hanging from the crane so hopefully she is all over there now. I would've liked to have seen the fuselage being moved. That definately would've been interesting. Did they say if they have definately gotten the spar finished?
