10 years ago I visited a place called Innaminka on the edge of the Great Stoney Desert in NSW and there was a Beaufighter engine there with plaque stating it was from a nearby crash-site, are the remains still there? and if so how much is there?

Hi

Don't know and I haven't heard of it but Robert Grienert should and he posts here. I will ask him and see if he knows much about it

I know that another engine and some other parts ended up with a private collector in SA. I have visited this location and the second engine appears to be in better condition. Not sure the collector would want their details published so I'll check to see if pics are available.

cheers
