Are there any of these left in existence? Everything I've read so far seems to indicate that there aren't any left. Any chance that there are still some wrecked ones out in the Western Desert in Africa?

Wasn't there a Repair Depot run by the AAC in WW2 in Libya? I vaguely
remember seeing phots of a Northrup Delta(??) at that depot in a Warbirds
International, years back. The Maryland certainly was a sleek-ship!! ..fer
a 'roundy!!

Very little. I have been told that there is a Baltimore in deep water off Italy, and that someone wants to recover it as it was an Italian Co-Belligerent aircraft. I have found some very few parts and pieces around my AO, which I suspect were leftovers from scrappings of upgrades- all of the aircraft were continually under improvement for their users.
Britain, Italy, France, and Turkey all used the aircraft. Turkey flew theirs up until the mid 1950's, but I have no idea what happened to them.
The French ones were broken up, as were the purchased British ones. I don't know what happened to the Italian ones.
Very neat aircraft and if you find anything on remains, I'd be very interested to hear about them.

The last Baltimore in Royal Navy service was pushed off a cliff at Hal Far, Malta in 1946. It doesn't say what was at the bottom of the cliff, maybe the wreckage is still there?
