Spitfire Project in South Australia

Rumours are that a Spitfire that was recovered several years ago may soon be bought out of long term storage for a proposed restoration. It is unclear what type, model etc this Spitfire is but a very reliable source says that negotiations have been underway since mid 04 between several interested parties.
It is also known that this is not the Badger Spitfire but a previously undisclosed recovery. My source says it was observed on the back of a trailer late one evening in the State of South Australia.
When asked about the aircraft the driver was happy to talk about it and simply said it was being moved so that it can be properly assessed for damage and corrosion and that a decision will be made about its future when this information is known.
The driver confirmed he was the owner of the project which consisted mainly of the fuselage from the engine bulkhead back to mid way along the empenage (no tail).
Does anyone have any further information about which spitfire this could be and who the owner is or who the possible intended owner(s) are or could be?

Hmmm,
Of the eight or nine Spits that I know of in the country, the Badger Vc is the only one that I know of in SA.
Maybe Setter can shed some light on this one!

Langdon Badger's MkVC was on loan to one of the museums, I think.

There is another spitfire in SA belonging to an A Wilson of Yunta.
MK.V A58-615. Don't know if this is it though.
I think the same bloke may have had 3 projects at some time.
