This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Well it has just gone midnight in the first country in the World to see 2005, and I would like to wish everyone everywhere in this great warbird fraternity all the best and a wonderful 2005, despite the tragedy that has unfolded in the past few days.

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year also. I hope 2005 will be a good year for us all. As a friend of mine that has "Gone South" used to say, FLY FAST LIFE IS TOO SHORT.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay but we just got back from London last night at two o'clock AM so needed a bit of sleep. We actually were present during the new years festivities at the London Eye and Big Ben. It was impressive to say the least. The visit in London also had a very healthy halifax tone to it when I say both W1048 and PN323 as well as receiving 156 copies of Halifax drawings. A good start I would say.
May I wish you all on this this forum a very happy and healthy 2005 and let's see some feverish activity in the recovery, restoration and flying of warbirds in 2005.
Cheers
Cees
