Hopefully the recent drop-off in oil prices is a good sign.....

DROP OFF??? Where do you live?
My 6.6 liter Silverado diesel hasn't gone anywhere in a week. Diesel here is at $4.19.

No - There is no leveling or drop at the pump yet, but the last 2 to 3 days have seen a slide in the price of a barrel of crude oil and maybe...just maybe, reduced gasoline and other fuel prices are on the horizon??

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the meager muster of Mustangs at ToM?

Now don't take this the wrong way because any Mustang sighting is a good Mustang sighting but I wonder if air show organizers are leaning away from Mustangs this year because of all the play they got in 07. With fuel prices being as high as they are and budgets with limits, I am guessing that some organizers may, if given the choice between a Mustang and say a P-40 or a Corsair for example, would take the alternative aircraft.

Just my thoughts and I may be way, way off base.

If we can get 6 P-47s at the show and all in the air at the same time in lieu of some Mustangs, I'll take it!
