Hi all,
This morning I had to get out of bed at 4:45 local time to make it to Volendam harbour to get on a ship for a nice expedition.
Today we finally recovered the second engine and prop from the Heinkel 115 seaplane that we have been investigating this past year after the first engine was discovered at the end of 2003. The whole operation went relatively easy and within hours the engine and prop were brought to our museum where a steamcleaner removed the majority of the mud and sealife. It was a great day and I hope I can get some sleep this evening to recover. Full story and pics soon in the various magazines.
Cheers
Cees
