I was curious if anyone has any info on this X-CAF Hellcat that crashed in 1969. What I've been told it has been in storage with Mike couches in Calif. ever since. Is it a complete airframe and are there any plans to rebuild it???

Hi Jack!
I had the opportunity to talk to Mrs. Coutches last year and I asked her about that plane. She told me it was gone, sold, east, and that it was probably restored again by now.
I don't know why exactly, but I got the impression,,,Nevada? maybe...maybe not.
