Hi guys!

I am now looking for the "Rooster" in a Bobby's outfit, that was painted on the tail fin of Dean's P-51B. This is especially important to me as it is the only art that adorned this plane. Thanks to Martin's kindness in sharing his photo, and Dan's research, I now know that this painting was associated with the 56th Fighter Squadron.

What I would really love to find is a good quality photo that I can print. Soooo, if any of you happen to have art books lying around?? Thanks guys! I appreciate it!

Best wishes,
Karen

Dumb question!

My husband and I just got into a debate on this, and we leave it to all of you...... Is this a rooster??? Or is it a woodpecker??? Seeing it all red as it appears, I am starting to wonder? Also, does anyone know how I would find out if it is Disney, or Warner Bros. inspired artwork?

Thanks guys!!

Karen

Funny you should mention that Karen, I was having issues with the bird
as well. I was thinking it looks more like a crow than a rooster. The Red
and Blue tails were conflicting with that, but I like ya'lls interpretation..
yeah..I'll go for the woodpecker idea!
