So with all the bad press lawyers get, this is a great example where they did us a favor.
Why does the story not really read that way? where better place for a B-17 then in the air?

I guess we're all the better then, as another B-17 takes to the air, instead of being static in Israel.

I provided the quote directly from Bob Reid, so it is his feeling that the airplane should have gone to Israel. Not sure why, but I for one am glad it is a flyer here in the U.S. He was gracious in allowing me to use the material as a lot of individuals in similar situations will not be so forthcoming.
