Thanks Tulio! Just want to keep my options open in case I find some spare time. I'm in St. Louis this week and Chicago over the weekend.

St. Louis!!!!

Go to Union Station, and on the second floor, food court, go to the Panda something restaurant, and order the orange chicken!

Nearby, (South on 18th street, then go West (R) on Chouteau, and maybe one to one and a half miles on the (L) you will see a trucking company, where an F-86 is sitting right next to the fence.

If you circle the block, you can see the remains of at least two MiG-21 (the polish LIM version)./

If you have time, and you like other means of transportation as well as aircraft, the Transportation Museum is a must see.

Off 270 South (From downtown, take I-40 / 64) to 270, head
south (Memphis) and exit at Barrett Station Road. Follow the
signs and you will be pleased with what you'll see.

There is a C-47, a T-33 and also one example of the "Aerocar" of the 1940s. There are several very interesting cars indoors, and there are steam and diesel locomotives on display.

In Chicago, I would guess that you have visited the Museum of Science and Industry? You must have seen the Stuka there, as well as the other aircraft and of course, the Zephyr train. But the most visited place there, (besides de U-505 submarine) is the chicken hatchery!

There is also a Rube-Goldberd-like display made in Switzerland, that is also worth seeing.
