Bomber Pilot...written by Starr Smith.
Just finished this book and thought it was well told. Stewart was one of a kind-Hero (every crew was a hero) and famous actor. Book tells his impressive climb from Private to Brig. General.
Anyway, does anybody out there know the name of the B-24(s) Stewart flew on the 20 or so combat missions? Anybody have a picture of the plane(s)?
