Everyone;

For anyone wishing to stay at the college dorms at Geneseo for the Geneseo Airshow. The cost is $25 per person, per night. Please be aware that many of these are double rooms and if you "fly solo" you might be put into a room with another stranger, or worse yet - Col. Rohr (kidding Rob!)

Here is the program:

1) Please email me at ryan@ryankeough.com the following information by Tuesday, June 27th evening (no PMs please):

-Name (this will be the reservation name listed)
-Number of people (if you are coming with wife or guests)
-Preferred roomate (if you are coming solo & know of possible roomie)
-Nights you will be staying (Fri, Sat, or both)
-Method and amount of deposit or payment (see #2)
-If buying tickets to the chicken BBQ (Fri) or Steak roast (Sat), please let me know how many tix to reserve for each under your name (see #2)

I will be calling 1941 HAG on Wednesday with a list of people and final totals to reserve the rooms under the "WIX" heading. Your name listed will be the reservation name.

If I have not emailed you back by Wednesday night with a confirmation that I got your reservation and submitted it, please email me, PM me, or call my cell at 978-618-6810.

2) Send a full payment or deposit of 1/2 of the total to 1941 HAG via personal check (make check to: 1941 HAG) at the following address:

1941 HAG
P.O. Box 185
Geneseo, NY 14454

If you need to call, the number is 585-243-2100 and Carrie should be able to help you.

Again, $25 per person per night. I recommend sending the full amount if you can. Make a copy of the check if you can too... just in case.

If you wish to attend the Friday night Chicken BBQ (6 PM) or the Saturday Night Steak Roast (6 PM) please enclose a seperate check made out to 1941 HAG as well with the total amount of dinners you wish to purchase. The chicken BBQ is $8 per person and the steak roast is $10 per person. Please note on the check what dinners you are paying for, amount of dinners, and the name on the reservation that you gave me in #1 for their reference.

3) When arriving at the show, report to the Crew Tent (for pilots & crews) on Friday before 6 PM (if arriving Friday) or before 5 PM on Saturday (if only staying Sat) to pick up your keys, or get directions on how to do that if they are having folks check in right at the college and the dinner tickets. If you only paid a deposit, bring the remaining amount via personal check.

4) If you have any problems at the event, please feel free to call me on my cell at 978-618-6810. No prank calls please :-) I will most likely be close to our B-25 "Tondelayo" or F4U Corsair most of the time too.

Thanks,
Ryan Keough

No, but the show has breakfast each morning at the crew tent. See the website for details.

Ryan,
Good advise. There are very few quality places to stay close to the field (Quality Inn and Country Inn and Suites which fill months in advance). I've had the misfortune of staying in a couple of fleabag motels the past couple of years.
See you all at the show.
