thanks,

Hi Nathan--

DaveM2 could tell you much more accurately, but there are several P-40 (and P-39) projects underway in New Zealand. Fairly recently the museum at Anchorage, Alaska, recovered the remains of a P-40 for eventual restoration. And it isn't a project as such, but the ex-Dick Hansen Kittyhawk (P-40E) is to join the Michael Potter collection in Gatineau, Quebec (near Ottawa) later this year. Other P-40 restorations are underway in the USA, one of them being a K-model, but specifics escape me at the moment...suffice it to say that the future looks promising for the P-40 series in general.

Cheers

Hi Nathan,

I have heard tell that the worlwide population of P-40's should see signifigant increase in the coming years. I think the number is between 5 and 8 restorations being done around the world as we speak. I have the info somewhere in this mess I call my computer room. I'll try to find more specifics for you.

How about the Don Brooks P-40, which Reilly was working on in Kissimmee?
