Mike, these two shots were taken at La Aurora Airport, Guatemala. They swow an ENAER T-35A Pillan trainer and a Douglas DC-6 (TG-WOP), both belonging to the Guatemalan Air Force. They are beating the field down runway 01. The photographer is unknown, both photos are from my personal collection, having purchased them at La Aurora back in 2001.







TG-WOP is grounded due to main-spar corrossion issues, and was the largest airplane operated by the GAF.

"You can only tie the record" - something to keep in mind when flying Low.

You know your flying too low when lowering the landing gear increases your altitude

Not going to comment on what I had seen. We destroyed the video months later. But I have 2 pics that involve a DC-3 on the low side. So not to get my friend in trouble..............that is all.
