This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Dave,
I e-mailed Mr. Ropkey, and the e-mail was returned, with an invalid address.
Will try to call him tomorrow.
If I make it there, I will be glad to send you photos of the armor.
Through my travels in the USA, I have come upon armor displayed in different locations, and I have photos of them. If you are interested, I can either e-mail you the photos or try to copy them to a CD and mail it to you.
Saludos,
Tulio

If you have a day and are willing to drive up to Akron, there's always MAPS Air Museum.

Thanks for the report etc. No need to send me pics...I like the big 'Cats' when it comes to WW2 tanks.
