Breighton Warbirds

Mon Sep 05, 2005 4:53 pm

Just thought you guys might like to see some shots of the RAC warbirds I took at a fly in at their home base Breighton yeterday (Sunday 4th).
Some of my pics from a very enjoyable day. It was nice to see the weather finally helping Breighton for a change this year.

Cheers guys :)

From what I know the Buchon is ready to fly now but because of paperwork the aircraft hasn't got permission to fly from the CAA yet.
Here she is doing one of her taxi runs on the day...

A couple of stunning shots there! I particularly liked the one of the P-51D on take-off. Thanks very much for sharing!

Cheers,

Steve,

Nicely done photo's Sir. I have never seen photo's of the "Black" Hurricane before....and the Buchon looks lovely as well...It belongs back in the air as soon as the "paperwork" is complete.....interesting pair to say the least.
