A-20

The A-20 Havoc Big Nig arived at Wangaratta this week, the fuse at least.
I didn't realise how long those things are we are hoping for just a reskin.
There should be a bit of activity there this weekend with a few warbirds showing up including an F-18 Hornet.
Fortunatly parliment passed it today after someone tried to stuff it for us.
The P-39 is looking good at least it's the right colour now.
The KI-61 wing is in the jig and they have started on it.
So if you get a chance pop in Saturday. :D

"Stuff" is a British term (perhaps used in the colonies down under, too?) for the central digit of either hand.

Hi

We have complex legislation about exporting warbirds here and as Big Nig is a significant warbird along with the other 3 they are taking on there it could have been about that or because the RAAF owned the aircraft there could have been a problem with letting a private organisation have them. I am sure Mick will fill us in in due course . Several of these A20s are to be exported once complete to the US. All will be airworthy!!!

I would love to see A-20 take to the skies again. Maybe with some here in the US, LSFM would fly thiers sinceit wouldnt be quite so rare anymore. I keep waiting to see Tallachet's A-20 finish up and fly.
It is such a great airplane and there are so few left in the world now.

Hi Guys

To keep you happy with a few recovered A20 snaps of the Wangarratta wrecks - soon to be undergoing restoration to airworthy condition - at least 3 are scheduled to be built and wrecks plus parts are currently present in this album plus all the other stuff including P39, P40, P38, A20 < L5 , Kingfisher etc

There is also an album taken today of the arrival of A20 Big Nig - a very famous A20 which is to be restored to airworthy condition

Hi Oscar

Yes I believe Murray is keeping it for himself, the other two are for US collectors but another could be done for here if someone wanted it - there are enough bits etc.
