Instructors Fatal Crash

Mon Oct 24, 2005 11:15 pm

This one was posted on my site as well. Any help is appriciated.

Can anyone supply information about Lt. Raleigh V. Logan. Lt. Logan departed Strother Field, Winfield, Kansas sometime in February, 1944 enroute to his home in the middle West. Crash occured during storm. This is all the info I could obtain. He was my Flight Instructor at Strother. I have often wondered about him and would appreciate any information on him. Thank You. John

The name Logan, Raleigh V. is listed in the USAAF database of stateside crewmember accidents, but his name does not appear in the February 1944 reports, albeit the numerous -BT-13- accidents from Strother Field, Kansas.

Will keep searching, and let you know.
