That was a big blow for our Catalina Club, but luckily they sourced another example which has been flying here for several years.
Being lost in the middle of the Pacific, I doubt whether the cost of salvaging it would make sense, even if it were possible.

Given that salvaging that Catalina out of the depths would be probably cost-prohibitive, how about these?
2 Catalinas in Iquitos, Peru.
