Olympia, WA- December 28, 2005.

For immediate release:

The officials of the Olympic Flight Museum have named Mr. James Arlow as its new Executive Director. Jim is retired from Delta Airlines and has been a volunteer at the OFM since its inception in 1999. Jim has many years of experience in management as a supervisor at Delta and is well qualified to lead the volunteers and employees at the museum. As a matter of fact Jim has been a key volunteer and has seen first hand how the museum works since he was a crew chief on some of the big Airplanes.

You can contact him at the Museum at 360-705-3925 or visit at 7637A HWY 99 SE at the Olympia Airport. Jim replaces long time Director Teri Thorning who resigned last fall to work for her Husband at Northwest Signworks full time after nearly Five years of service. Jim looks forward to all the exciting activities at the Olympic Flight Museum including the Air Show on June 17-18 2006.

The Olympic Flight Museum is a non-profit 501c3 organization that recreates and shows a living history of historical aviation with flying aircraft. Located at the Olympia Regional Airport the museum has 12,000 S.F. of display space and over 700 members.

I would say he has some big shoes to fill, but Terri has some really small feet!
I'm glad to hear they found someone that will be around. I look forward to working with him during the fly-in this June with the FOWJ group!
