Parts of a B-25 were recovered, along with the B-17E
"Desert Rat". As far as it being a viable restoration, well,
it would take work. A lot of it.
The wings, rear fuselage, and tail are there.
The nose is missing, and the spars would need
to be rebuilt. The plane was basically drawn and
quartered into 5' x 5' pieces.
It is a B-25D model, and as far as I know,
is not covered in any survivor's list.
