You're being a tease (again), Colonel.

Not that I wish unemployment on anyone, but I'm curious as to who's heading out the door. Is it...

Dr. N?
Ms. C?
or is there a third mystery guest?

I'm assuming the NHC won't be changing their congressionally-approved policy of "everything underwater is ours," but if more airframes will be coming ashore instead of lying beneath the briney foam, I guess that's a step in the right direction.

LETS ALL HOPE THIS IS A STEP IN RIGHT DIRECTION!!ENOUGH TIME HAS BEEN LOST TO THE BUNGLING OF A FEW FIXED MINDED FOLKS HOLDING UP THE PRESERVATION OF NAVAL AVIATION HISTORY! ISNT THAT THEIR JOB? KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED THANKS MIKE

Hope at last?

Ok, Rob. Now even my excuse for a brain can see a flicker at the end of the tunnel.

Hmm... So the good Admiral who is our new director is planning to visit and establish rapport with all of his museum directors, eh? Perhaps it's time to reschedule that meeting between the civilian movement and the folks at Pensacola (that those bothersome hurricanes managed to interrupt last time). Can you imagine being able to establish some positive rapport between Adm. Tobin and the civilian sector?

If you're gonna' dream--might as well dream big.

Let’s all hope for a win / win to come out of this change of power while those you can have a positive influence on the situation work for the best of everyone. We should also be careful about ruffling feathers while things are happening. I’d hate to see something great get killed because of picking at some scabs that should be allowed to heal.

Oh the dreams of cleaning up the bottom of lake Michigan. :D

Guys

PLEASE all be careful and be prepared if a meeting is to take place it would be really good to have an agenda and plan to discuss - not a list of grievances with the past - especially if the Adml wants to move on and build bridges - glass should be half full - and not half full of bile !!!
