I'm sure someone will be along to confirm or correct but I believe it is a BT-14/NA-64. Note also that it has fixed gear. At any rate it is one of the many iterations of the airframe built by North American that preceeded the AT-6.

Thanks for the input. I didn't think there were any actual BT-14's left in the world. If it is an actual BT-14 then somebody has done it an injustice with that BT-13 cowling and Stearman induction "snorkel." I can't quite tell from the photos if it actually has fixed gear or if the gear doors have just been removed. I guess I'm leaning towards thinking that somebody has taken a T-6 and tried to convert it into a BT-14 "ish" replica(?)

It is a NA-64 Yale, not a BT-14. There are a bunch of Yales around. No BT-14s which was the NA-58.

Nice shots Bill. As I recall that particular Trojan was "slicked up" to go racing in the T-28 class at the now defunct Phoenix 500 air races. It is a beautiful bird in my opinion.

Bill, you always offer up the type photos that are captured at the right time, with what seems to be a great effort to do so! Thanks for sharing with us.
