Discovered in 2007 in Lake Mead. Likely brought in on a recreational boat.

So while the mussels will clean the water, they are probably going to cover the plane. Yet another argument for a salvage attempt.

over the last ten years the zebras have worked their way from the great lakes, its a matter of time and they will cover the plane!....was on our family wakeboarding trip we do every year last summer, the water keeps dropping, there was a 2004 malibu skier wakeboard boat that had sunk recently, probably with in the last 5 years I would guess, you almost couldn't realize it was a boat they had covered it so bad...
