KB839 is in the process of being repainted back to wartime colours and configuration. It is actually being repainted in a 405 Squadron scheme, not its original 419 Squadron colour.
KB839 and KB882 are the only Canadian built Lancaster with actual wartime missions and are both still sitting outside.

There was some interest in 882 from Edmonton Alberta as well as Trenton. The prospect of a Lancaster and Halifax together at Trenton, seems to be the front runner at this point.
Restoring 882 back to Wartime configuration , would not be that easy. The general hope is that it stays in its original post war RCAF scheme and configuration. Of the 10 Victory built Lanc X left, it will soon be the only one painted that way.
When the Toronto Lancaster FM104 was taken off its plinth , the City of Toronto, who own it, looked at proposals to send it to Comox BC and retaining it in Toronto at the then called Toronto Aerospace Museum(TAM) , which is now the the Canadian Air and Space Museum (CASM),Which shouldn't be confused with the CANADA Air and Space Museum (CASM) in Ottawa ! FM104 stayed in Toronto in the end . Its restoration has stopped and the airframe is stored away, while CASM(TO)tries to re-establish itself at Pearson International Airport Toronto. Pearson was formally called Malton Airport, where all of the Canadian Lancasters ,430,( including passenger/mail planes)were built between 1943 and 1945.
