He he he... The (vintage) aviation world is kind of a small one,
isn't it?

That tab on the front of the 1st panel/pic is a dead give-away (T-6
side panel it is).

The next two are blatantly obviously T-6 stress panels (fuel
bay) covers.

Original "nose art" indeed!

Caveat emptor....

Perhaps it's original wing art

This sounds like part of a Lovejoy plot to me... 8)

Was there a real Picadilly Lilly ? I know it was used on the Twelve O'Clock High TV show but was the name for the TV airplane a real wartime aircraft?

Coming to a TGI Fridays near you!

I wonder what would happen if I called him up and asked if he had any T-6 parts.

If those fuel stress panel covers were serviceable, he might
get more for them as T-6 spares/parts then he would as
fake "nose" art.

I looked again, and the 1st pic (We the People) is painted
on a left-hand side T-6 fuselage side panel portion (only the LH
side of a T-6 fuselage side panel has that little tab in front, which
is seen on the RH side of the part in the picture). This means his
"nose" art is painted on upside-down on the side panel! How rare
can you get???!!!

They're not the worst faux relics I've seen, but what a terrible shame to try to cheat people.
