Gentlemen,

While searching through AAF overseas ferry units, I found the following information.

14 September 1944. John F. Selles, 2nd Lt. P-46 41-13388. River Canard, Canada. Taxiing, no injury major replacement. Taxied in to ditch preparatory to take off after forced landing.

17 September 1942. Woodrow Yarbrough, 1st. Lt. P-39 42-4331. Apaneca, El Salvador, collision in full flight with objects other than aircraft. Fatal, complete wreck. engine failed, crashed into mountains.

11 June 1944. Alfred M. Bartolet, Flight Officer. C-46 42-107344. Ascension Island. Taxiing accident, brake failure, no injuries. Wings flaps, fuselage damaged. No damage to private property.

12 April 1944. Vincent J. Perron, Flight Officer, C-47 43-13385. Atkinson Field, British Guiana. Landing in strong cross winds, left wing scrapped runway. No injury. Damage to left wing tip, wing and aileron. Landing one minute behind three B-25s.

13 April 1944. Louis W. Ramay, 1st Lt. C-37A 42-92866. During run-up of engine prior to takeoff, right landing gear collapse. Cause undetermined. Further damage when cable snapped and plane dropped during removal from crash area. No injuries. Natal, Brazil.

15 December 1942. Ardurino Carella, 2nd Lt. PT-27 #42-15589. Isleta, New Mexico. Takeoff accident, minor injury, major damage. Attempted to take off from short field after forced landing. Engine failure. Hit embankment.

24 February 1942, Alfred D. Dreher, S/Sgt. P-40 #42-9789. River Canard, Canada. No injury. Major overhaul. Emergency forced landing, power plant failure.

1 July 1942. W. E. Gregg, civilian pilot. P-40 #41-5563. No injury, minor damage, structural failure. Tire blew on takeoff.

11 August 1942 Frank W. Herald, 1st Lt. P-40 #42-4590. British Columbia, Canada. No injury, minor damage, landing accident. Gear folded upon landing.

2 March 1942 C. A. Hinsie, 2nd Lt. P-39 #41-7176. Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. Spin or stall following engine failure. Fatal, complete wreck. Aircraft spun in. Pilot attempted to use parachute.

9 December 1942. George T. Lutz, 2nd Lt. PT-27 #FX 107. En route from Windsor, Canada to Wayne County Airport. No injury minor damage. FX 107 slide into FX 105 while flying formation. Midair collision.

5 November 1942. Willis Pennington, 1st Lt. P-36 #36-33. Burwash Landing, Alaska. Major injury, result of exposure after accident. Major replacement, emergency forced landing.

14 August 1942. Mack H. Rowe, 1st Lt. P-40 #42-45947. Landing accident, no injury, major replacement. Aircraft ran off runway during landing and hit marker light. Brake failure. Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.
