Anybody have an idea to what it costs to operate a C-47 for 1 Hour?

I can give a pretty close cost on it. On our AC-47 we figure $1,000.00 per hour and this is with free hanger and mechanices that work for free. also the days of getting TBO on the engines I think has past we hope to get 1,000 hrs before overhaul. Good Luck.

Mike, since we have 8 pax seats we charge $150.00 each.

i filled my 93 octane vw passat today for 2.77 a gallon, it will run on no less than 92. regular is 2.59 a gallon. marine gas for your boat when filling up on lake erie is traditionally 30 % higher than for your car. av gas is just over double!!! bottom line......... whether you are flying a skyraider or a cessna it's big ass bucks!! alot of recreational boating & flying is going to be hobbled very soon, & permanently regardless of how deep your pockets are!!
